Pickles! Inspired for my 1 ¾ son’s passion and love for pickles. He’s crazy over them! Some kids love candy but my son is crazy for the gherkins. “Picko! Picko! Picko!” he shouts.

  Ah, this brings back memories. I remember fondly begging my grandfather for one of his extra sour pickles whenever I visited as a small child, only to sit there with eyes watering and mouth puckered up as much as possible. Even though they were sour as all getout, I loved every bite of them. Pickles are so much fun when you’re a kid…

  Pickles are an important part of our family lexicon. The answer to most silly questions around the house is “Two pickles tied together”. I forget how it started…some of my nonsense, no doubt. Now Lydia says it a lot.
