I had a great summer. What constitutes a good summer for me? Getting to fish! I got lots and lots of it in this year. Sadly, no fish as big as the one illustrated above.

Hi readers! I wanted to let everyone know that we’ve sailed back home to Canada from our year long stay in Cleveland, Ohio. It was fun working at American Greetings but in the end we’ve returned to Canada. Two moves in two years was quite the … um… experience but we are all settled in now and living on a small farm in a peaceful valley. It’s great to be home in the fresh air and stunning wilderness again.

It’s also great because I am back to full time freelancing again! It was tough working a day job doing greeting cards then coming home and freelancing. I am so happy to put all my efforts back into freelance illustration again as I feel that’s when I was doing my best work.

Expect me to become a regular on the blog circuit as well again!
