Alphabet Book – That’s Z End!

September 29th, 2006 § 16

Now you know your ABC's!

Z is for Zebra! There is no better way to end an alphabet book than with Zebra.

So, what now? 26 pages later I have a complete interior for an alphabet book but what about the cover? That my friends is in the works and publishing is too! I’ll be back in a couple of weeks with the complete low down on how and where to purchase the whole book.

Thanks to all the readers of this blog for all the comments you sprinkled throughout the way! Reading your thoughts and praises and gripes were all part of what made the experience so unique.

I had a great time working through the project like this and hope to do another blog project really soon! I’ve got some ideas cooking and they should be even more fun!

If you’d like to know more about this project I did a quick interview with Mr. Jeremiah McNichols over at Think In Pictures. Head on over there now to read some inside thoughts!

Yodelayheehoo! One more week to go in this project! It went fast didn’t it? I am currently entertaining other offers for printing rather than Lulu.com … It will get printed, just trying to figure out the best solution for your dollars.

Come back next week for the big finale!

Ding! Ding!

Hey, how come at the end of the alphabet the words get so hard to illustrate? Welcome to the neglected end of the alphabet where pickings are slim at best. So, I present to you the rare xenops bird rocking the xylophone!

Hey! We’re getting close to the end of the Alphabet Project! V already! What the world needs is less violence and more VW Vans and Vegetables.

P.S. Yes, I know a tomato is a fruit. I can’t draw eggplants… now you know my dirty secret.
