Just a reminder to people that I do have a print up for sale on tinyshowcase.com. This weeks contributor is the lovely and talented Brandon Reese… you better snatch his work up quick though as his octopus illustration is seeling like hotcakes. Wow!

This weeks theme at Illustration Friday is “Summer”. There is nothing more satisfying on a sweltering summer day than hearing the musical notes of an approaching ice cream truck. You dig madly in your pockets for loose change. Uhg! No change in your pockets! Dash inside the house!!! Quickly, he’s coming! At last you hit payday in the couch cushions! HOORAY! Uhhhggg! Real quick illustration again this week. I have so much freelance work I am having trouble getting around to the Illustration Friday fun. But that’s a problem I like dealing with! There is no such thing as having too much freelance work in my opinion. I’ve got magazine spots, greeting cards and working on a new children’s book! A nice mix.

Anyhow, like I say didn’t have much time to commit to this illustration Friday topic. But here’s a concept spot for digital. It’s digital downloading music… a bit of a stretch I know. A boy’s got to have some creative latitude, no?
