Illustration Friday: Wise!

Dr. Who

Put me in the pile of people that illustrated the owl for this weeks theme of wise on Illustration Friday. Couldn’t help myself. Owl=Wise in my books. This particular owl takes night classes so he can be a doctor. Dr. Who that is.

Candy is awesome!
It has been a while since I have taken part in an Illustration Friday but I plan on taking part in way more of these again! These weeks topic was “Hoard”. Who doesn’t love the hoarding holiday Halloween?

80′s!

Waaaayyyy back in the 80′s I use to rock this game on a Saturday afternoon. Insatiable! Insatiable! Hippopotami!!! It taught me the fundamentals of the food chain. Marbles go in, marbles come out … the circle of life!

Illustration Friday : Ee!

January 19th, 2006 § 15

Nuts!
Yes, E is for Elephant. You may have noticed that this particular elephant was inspired by the Rocky and Bullwinkle show. I recently purchased the season one on DVD and I am loving it. The animation though low budget still comes up with many beautiful painted textured backgrounds and of course very witty humor. Jay Ward was a genius! Critiques at the time said the show was like a well written radio program with illustrations. That seems a fitting reason as to why I might love this show. The segment I liked the most as a child and now is the Mr. Peabody and Sherman segments. The intro to that segment shows an elephant walking in a parade of history thus my rendition above.
